A passionate team of support groups and individual Nigerians from across the country has raised funds for the purchase of APC nomination forms for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s 2023 Presidential bid.

Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Vice President, Mr. Laolu Akande, confirmed this development on Thursday.

The forms are being collected by representatives of the team, just as the Vice President continues his interactions with APC stakeholders across the States.

Akande further said that the Vice President held meetings with APC delegates and Stakeholders in Cross River and Bayelsa States on Thursday.

Thelagostimes had reported yesterday that the General Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, Nigeria, Tunde Bakare who declared his intention to run for presidency on Monday, purchased the N100m presidential nomination and expression of interests forms of the APC.

The party will hold its primaries on May 30, 2022.
