The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo.
Thelagostimes gathered that Oluomo was arrested over allegations of offences bordering on financial crimes on Thursday morning at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Ikeja, Lagos State.
The Speaker was picked up following a tip-off.
According to sources, the speaker has been taken to the EFCC’s Lagos office for further questioning.
It was gathered that the speaker had been invited by the EFCC several times but failed to honour the invitations.
