There was heavy gridlock at the Lekki toll-gate on Saturday, following a rally organised by supporters of the Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi.
Thelagostimes gathered that the supporters reportedly defied police orders and campaigned at Lekki toll-gate.
According to Punch, the ‘obidients’ gathered on Saturday morning at the toll-gate despite heavy police presence on the ground.
Private and commercial bus drivers were said to have been finding alternative routes out of the traffic on the Lekki-Epe Expressway, as the traffic was almost at a stand still.
Thelagostimes recalls that a Federal High Court had, on Wednesday, ordered the Obi supporters not to gather at the Lekki Toll-Gate.
