As part of the reorganisation of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the dismissal of two Executive Directors.
The president also appointed three new ones to replace the sacked ones
Those who are affected by the dismissal are s Rotimi Fasakin (Executive Director Operations) and Gambo Ahmed (Executive Director, Maritime Labour and Cabotage Services). Their dismissal is coming in the wake of the appointment of Dr. Bashir Jamoh as new Director General of the agency.
An Impeccable source at the agency said the President has approved the appointment of Rt. Hon. (Engr) Victor Ochei as NIMASA’s new Executive Director of Maritime Labor and Cabotage Services
The source said the appointment was consequent upon the expiration of the tenure of the Director-General, Dr Dakuku Peterside and the other Executive Directors who were inaugurated on March 10, 2016.
