National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has picked the presidential nomination and expression of interest forms of the ruling party.

Thelagostimes gathered that Tinubu picked up the N100 million forms in Abuja on Friday afternoon.

Tinubu, who is in Saudi Arabia for Hajj, was represented by some of his close associates including House of Representatives member from Ikeja Federal Constituency, James Faleke who picked up the form on his behalf; member representing Agege Federal Constituency in the green chamber, Babatunde Adejare; and a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal.

Minister of State of Education, Emeka Nawjuiba; Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State; Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State had earlier picked up the party’s N100 million presidential form.

Other presidential aspirants under the ruling party include Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo; Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige; Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi; former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha; former Abia State Governor, Orji Kalu; amongst others

Meanwhile, June 3 has been set aside by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for political parties to submit the names of their candidates.
