If there is somebody that needs no introduction it is none other than Africa’s richest man. Aliko Dangote. His influence is everywhere from oil to cement, from sugar to noodles and spaghetti.

News making the rounds however has it that Nigeria and Africa’s premier moneybag Aliko Dangote is looking for a new wife. The news has sent the social scene into overdrive with lots of women hoping and praying that they will soon become the third official Mrs Dangote.

This is despite the busy schedule of the world-renowned entrepreneur who at 61 is still devoting most of his time to further expanding his business empire. The twice-divorced father of three daughters knows that he is not getting younger and would like to experience a happy married life at the third attempt. His busy lifestyle is however making things complicated.

In his own words: “I’m not getting younger. Sixty years is no joke. But it doesn’t make sense to go out and get somebody if you don’t have the time. Right now, things are really, really very busy, because we have the refinery, we have the petrochemicals, we have the fertiliser, we have the gas pipeline.”

The serial entrepreneur is in the middle of building a $12 billion refinery which will drastically change the face of the industry. He also harbours ambitions of owning Arsenal Football Club in the nearest future. With all these projects lineup up it might be a long wait before the Kano-born business mogul finally settles down with another wife.
