Nigeria Records 138 New COVID-19 Infections, Total Now 53,865
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 138 new infections of the COVID-19.
According to the NCDC, the fresh cases were recorded in 13 states and the F.C.T, taking the total confirmed cases in the country to 53,865.
A State-by-State breakdown revealed the following; Plateau-55, Lagos-15, Ebonyi-11, Oyo-11, Abia-8, Anambra-7, FCT-7, Rivers-7, Kaduna-6, Ondo-5, Kwara-3, Bauchi-1, Benue-1 and Edo-1.
The Centre further disclosed that 199 patients recovered and have been discharged from various isolation centres in the country, indicating a total of 41,513 recoveries.
Also, 2 persons died of complications on Sunday as the nation’s fatality cases hit 1,013.
Thelagostimes gathered that there is a steady decline in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country.
