There was a tanker explosion on the popular Otedola Bridge in Lagos State at the early hours of Saturday.

The number of casualties could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) said it has responded to distress calls concerning the explosion.

“The Agency has responded to the distress calls concerning a tanker on fire at Berger along the Lagos Ibadan Expressway. Updates to follow,” it tweeted.
