Osinbajo Didn’t Share N250,000 To Oyo APC Delegates – OSM

Attempts by rival aspirants to smear the name of the Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, were vigorously refuted by the Osinbajo Support Movement on Friday.

Some media had falsely reported that the Vice President shared N250,000 each to delegates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State during his meeting with the delegates.

Prof. Osinbajo had, on Friday, received a rousing welcome from the Oyo State APC delegates during his meeting with them.

In a statement debunking the alleged payment of N250,000k each to Oyo APC delegates, the Convener of Osinbajo Support Movement (OSM), Liberty Badmus, said the “fake reports” were concerted to smear the name of the vice president.

He disclosed that the growing popularity and acceptance of the vice president across the six geopolitical zones have become a worrisome development to other aspirants who resorted to blackmailing and comforting lies against the vice president.

In the statement titled “SEE HOW LOW THEY CAN GO”, Badmus said “they were stunned by the success of Vice President Osinbajo today in Ibadan during his meeting with the delegates and they had to concoct lies and resort to blackmail.

“They brought out the paper bag containing the aspirant’s literatures and refreshment, put some miserable Naira notes in it and took photographs and circulate.

“It is not worth responding to at all as they are known to be masters in FAKE NEWS.

“While they continue to lie, Vice President Osinbajo and his campaign team will continue to traverse the country to convince delegates to elect him as candidate of APC.”
