Road To 2023: Top Socialite, Rahmon Taiwo Joins Reps Race
As the road to the 2023 general elections intensifies, one of Nigeria’s high-flying socialites and fledgling politicians, Prince Rahmon Taiwo, popularly known in social circles as Raymond ‘Dokpesi,’ has joined the fray of politicians who want to compete for honours in the coming polls.
As a business mogul and real estate investor, Prince Rahmon Taiwo, whose foray into the murky waters of politics did not come as a surprise, made good his age long desire and intention of venturing into the esoteric world of politics.
Although, he’s a famous socialite, he is, at the same time not alien to the politics of his area. He was born into politics just like his late father, Alhaji Taiwo used to be an active politician in his hey days. In fact, he was the first chairman of Mushin Local Government area of Lagos state.
Born and bred in the same community where his father governed at the grassroots level, Prince Rahmon Taiwo has decided to take a shot at the House of Representatives seat of Mushin Constituency 2 under the platform of All Progressives Congress, (APC.)
Sources revealed to Naijanewsdirect that as a Mushin born and brought up, Prince Rahmon Taiwo strongly believes he has what it takes to change the narratives in terms of developments and bringing dividends of democracy to the residents of the community.
To realize his dream, the light-complexioned socialite-cum-politician, as you are reading this, Raymon has picked up his expression of interest and nomination forms and he’s raring to go.
