A former director-general of the National Sports Commission, Otunba Gbenga Elegbeleye has assured President Muhammadu Buhari that the residents of Ondo State will troop out en masse to cast their votes for him and the national assembly candidates of the APC in the approaching presidential and national assembly elections on February 16.

Speaking on the sidelines of the APC Presidential Mega Rally held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, Elegbeleye told The LagosTimes that the president’s reelection bid would be successful because the giant steps taken in infrastructure in the last three-and-half years under his watch made him the best choice to continue steering the ship of state.

The maverick sports administrator vowed that the Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress would leave no stone unturned to deliver the Sunshine State at the elections.

According to him, machinery has been set in motion by APC top shots led by the state governor Rotimi Akeredolu to ensure nothing goes amiss in APC’s bid to capture the state like it did during the 2015 elections.
