A fire incident occurred at the headquarters of the Federal Inland Revenue Service in Abuja on Monday.

TheLagostimes gathered that firefighters arrived the scene almost immediately to put out the fire that attacked the office at Wuse Zone 5, Abuja.

In a video clip that has been circulating the media and sighted by TheLagostimes, policemen and firefighters were seen battling to put the fire off as huge smoke oozed from one of the buildings.

The inferno reportedly gutted a store attached to a canteen used by the agency’s staff members at the headquarters’ annex.

Wahab Gbadamosi, a spokesperson for the revenue office, told premium Times that “Firemen who put out the fire are investigating the source of the fire”.
