After many years together and having given birth to children for the King of Fuji music, Fathia Opeyemi Adufe has finally gotten her wish. The foremost woman among King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal’s fleet of wives and women has been “promoted” to the position of legal wife.

The nuptial knot was legally tied on Saturday, at the palatial Ojushagbola Castle, Ijebu Ode ,Ogun State home of the fuji crooner who has 39 children from numerous women. The ceremony was conducted by officials from the Ikoyi Registry and was officially solemnized with the exchange of rings and signatures.

KWAM 1,whose polygamous exploits are rivalled only by his musical ones, has been notoriously reluctant to put a legal seal to the relationships between him and most of his women. Only the special ones like Fathia who has been by his side through thick and thin get to enjoy a queen’s treatment.

The happy woman was beaming at the occasion as she flaunted her new wedding ring in front of family, friends and well wishers in attendance. The crowd had all trooped in, expectant, for the singer’s birthday celebrations to commence, only for him to swerve them all and conduct a legal marriage instead.
