There was pandemonium in the Yaba area of Ondo town in Ondo State as supporters of the All Progressives Congress and those of the African Democratic Congress engaged in a bloody clash which left many injured.

According to reports, vehicles were damaged in the fight which occured on Thursday night.

Although the cause of the fight has not been ascertained, some residents however  opined that it might not be unconnected with the LG poll.

Recall that some holdlums had on Tuesday evening invaded the secretariat of the Social Democratic Party in Odode Idanre and injured party members holding a meeting there.

The chairmanship candidate of the SDP later blamed the APC for the attack which he said was because of the council election.
