JUST IN: Popular Security Analyst, Ona Ekhomu Dies At 66
Renowned private security expert, Dr. Ona Ekhomu is dead.
Thelagostimes reports that Ekhomu died on Monday night after he took ill some weeks ago at the age of 66.
A source disclosed that his wife contacted his colleagues in the Association of Industrial Security and Safety Operators of Nigeria (AISSON) about two weeks ago and notified them that he contracted COVID-19.
Born in March 1955, Ekhomu was the chairman, Transworld Security Systems and a founding member of the American Society for Industry Security (ASIS) International in Nigeria.
He was the Sub-editor of Bendel Newspapers Corporation, Benin City, Nigeria, 1974-1975. Program planner Iowa Department Transportation, Ames, 1978-1979. President Pittsburgh Trading Company, 1986, Trans-World Consultant, Inc., Pittsburgh, since 1978, Trans-World Security Company, Pittsburgh, since 1984.
Meanwhile, a formal announcement is yet to be made by his family.
