This was borne out during the Excellence Recognition Award which took place on Sunday March 25th at the Balmoral Event Centre, Oregun, Ikeja. The annual event was organized by Global Excellence Magazine owned by  Mayor Akinpelu. As Primate Elijah Ayodele stepped up to the podium to receive his Most Active Servant of God award, those who searched his face for clues could immediately see how much the recognition meant to him.

The outspoken and charismatic annoited man of God was recognized for his contributions to society and the political space while still keeping to his main calling as a spiritual leader of men. Unlike other pastors who confine themselves only to church matters, Primate Ayodele’s fierce passion for the wellbeing of the country shines through in his active participation on social issues.

The founder and spiritual head of popular INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church on Oke Afa, Isolo received the award at an event which featured the attendance of the Who’s Who from all walks of life. He was like a star among the celebrities on ground, who commended the man of God for his tireless work to uplift the condition of the poor and underprivileged.

It will not be forgotten in a hurry how Primate Ayodele dazzled the attendees at his recent birthday soiree which fell on Valentine Day. There were loads of goodies on offer for every categories of the needy. Itinerant workers, policemen, orphans, journalists, musicians and others all benefit as the man doled out 15 million Naira worth of gifts and 5 million Naira cash.
