The Deji of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, has intervened in the marital crisis between the Ooni of lfe, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and his estranged wife, Prophetess Naomi Silekunola, The Nation reports.

It was gathered that Oba Aladelusi, who is also the Chairman, Ondo State Council of Obas, held separate meetings with Ooni in Ile-Ife and his estranged wife in Akure.

Thelagostimes had reported last week that the 28-year-old prophetess, in a statement posted on her verified Instagram handle @queen_silekunolanaomi_ogunwusi, announced an end to her three-year-old marriage with the Ooni over ‘irreconcilable differences’.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Deji of Akureland, Michael Adeyeye, stated that Deji met with the Ooni and his estranged wife.

He stated that the Deji of Akureland personally paid a private visit to both parties and the matter was discussed and ironed out.
