Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has emerged as the deputy governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the forthcoming 2023 general election in Rivers State.

Tonto Dikeh made this known in a post on her Instagram page.

While thanking the governorship candidate of the ADC, Tonte Ibraye, for picking her, she noted that she will invest massively in social protection, create a social value system for young people, and increase women’s inclusion in government, among others.

”I thank Mr. Tonte Ibraye(@tonteibraye), the Governorship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Rivers State for nominating me as his running mate.
