Following the fire incidence that happened at the popular Bodija market in Ibadan, goods worth millions of Naira have been reportedly destroyed in the inferno.

Thelagostimes gathered that the fire outbreak occurred at a section of the market on Monday morning.

While counting her loss, one of the affected traders, Romoke Ganiya Jelili told Vanguard that she lost more than N5 million to the inferno.

According to reports, the fire incident affected some shops in the market.

However, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

The Bodija market is located within Aare Latosa Local Council Development Area (LCDA) which was carved out of Ibadan North Local Government Area.
