BREAKING: Amid Controversy, APC Unveils Shettima As Tinubu’s Running Mate
Amid the Muslim-Muslim ticket controversy, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled former Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima as its 2023 presidential running mate.
Recall that the decision of the former governor of Lagos State in picking the ex-Borno governor as his running mate about a week ago was met with various backlashes.
Thelagostimes gathered that there were oppositions from various Christian organizations over the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the party.
However, Shettima was unveiled by the party at an event in Abuja on Wednesday.
President Muhammadu Buhari’s former Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, disclosed this via a tweet.
“Our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), unveils Senator Kashim Shettima as the running mate of our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he tweeted.
