According to the Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC), the fire started around 5.am this morning.

The company told Channels TV that the Fire Service arrived within 5 mins without water/chemical to extinguisher fire.

Confirming the development, Public Relation Officer of Eko Disco, Godwin Idiemudia, said a loud bang was heard around 5 am.

Men of the Fire Service Department succeeded in putting the fire under control.
