RIVERS 2015: TONYE PRINCEWILL WARNS PRESIDENT JONATHAN

Prince-Tonye-Princewill
Tonye Princewill has sent words out to President Goodluck Jonathan that he should not ask him to step down for Nyesom Wike, present Minister of Education in the Rivers State governorship election billed for 2015.
Tonye Princewill, a Kalabari Prince, has been making frantic efforts to contests the 2015 Rivers State guber election on the platform of PDP, and he is very much aware of Wike’s influence in the President Jonathan admininstration.
While speaking to newsmen in Port-Harcourt yesterday, Princewill said, “No one will ask me to take a political position that is not the office of the governor of Rivers State in 2015. The president is aware of my desire to contest for the governorship ticket of the PDP. President Jonathan will not ask me to step down for Wike. I made up my mind to vie for the governorship of Rivers State for the second time in 2007. I convinced myself that I will run for the office of governor after Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi would have completed his second term in 2015. So, my governorship ambition is a long term plan.
“I am not a political push over. At the appropriate time, I will go and pick the PDP governorship ticket for the position of governor. I have been working quietly since 2007. I set up a committee to draw up developmental programme for me and we are on course. I will not step down for anyone and nobody will ask me to step down for anybody.”
