Nollywood Actor, Emeka Ike Announces Candidacy For House Of Reps

Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike has declared his candidacy for the House of Representative seat in Ideato South, Imo State in the 2019 general elections.
Ike, who made the declaration on his Instagram page, revealed that he will be running under the Young Progressive Party (YPP).
He wrote: YPP… the people friendly party… New blood… fresh breath… less clumsy…He accompanied his write up with a signboard of YPP and his posters. In another post “YPP is changing the grassroot narative… youths… it’s our time let’s go”.
The 51-year old has continued to post updates of his political campaigns.
Meanwhile, the veteran actor joins the likes of Desmond Elliot and Banky W in politics to contribute his quota to nation building.
