Ibadan-born fuji music star, Taiwo Akande Adebisi popularly known as Taye Currency has visited MC Oluomo in an undisclosed hospital.

MC Oluomo, one of the prominent NURTW official in Lagos was attacked during the flag-off of Sanwo Olu gubernational campaign in Lagos weeks ago.

His medical condition grew critical and Oluomo was reportedly flown outside the country for medical attention before rumours of his death circulated within hours.

The incident soon escalated, prompting a response from his daughter, Mistura Ayokade Akinsanya, who made efforts to announce to the general public that her father was indeed alive, as reported by the Lagos Times.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, Taye Currency, said the video was to tell the world that the popular NURTW official was alive and not dead.

Currency, who spoke in Yoruba, was captured saying: ‘Contrary to speculations, MC Oluomo is alive and well.”
