Honourable Sesi Oluwaseun Whingan has reiterated his commitment to the development of Badagry Federal Constituency and says his mission at the National Assembly is solely for the development of Badagry and not personal gains.
The youngest House of Representatives member in Lagos State made the statement yesterday, boxing day, at a meeting with the leaders of his ward in Badagry to celebrate Yuletide.
Speaking at the meeting, the MHR reiterated his commitment to the development of Badagry. He enumerated various efforts he had made to ensure Badagry Federal Constituency substantially benefits from and develops in the present political era.
Other roads that have been perfected to get government attention include Ganyingbo Road, Mowo-Agemowo Road, Ajara-Isalu Road, and Ajara-Ikoga Road, among others. Some streets’ roads have also been randomly selected across the three councils in the constituency for rehabilitation and reconstruction. To ensure quality education for our children, there will be the construction of school buildings in some of our schools in the constituency.”
“As I often say, I am not at the National Assembly for merriment or for my personal gains; my mission at the House of Representatives is to ensure Badagry’s development. This is another reason I carefully strive to belong to house committees that will aid my resolve for Badagry’s development. I ensure that all the 11 house committees to which I belong are relevant committees to which I could use their platform to attract development to Badagry.”
Meanwhile, Hon. Sesi has distributed food items and cash gifts to over 5000 households in Badagry Federal Constituency in his annual Yuletide social welfare package to his constituents. The items were distributed across the three councils in the federal constituency: Badagry Local Government, Olorunda, and Badagry West Local Council Development Areas.
Beneficiaries of Hon. Sesi Whingan’s Yuletide social welfare package include elders, youths, women, widows, religious leaders, politicians, special people, campaign teams, groups, and CDAs.
