Abba Kyari Laid To Rest As Internment Takes Place In Abuja

The remains of the deceased chief of staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari, has arrived in Abuja.

The body has been moved to Gudu cemetery for Burial according to Islamic rites.

LagosTimesLagosTimes had earlier reported that the remains of the Cambridge trained lawyer would depart Lagos for Abuja today (Saturday morning).

Kyari died on the 17th of April 2020 after battling the virulent novel coronavirus infection.

Kyari had tested positive for the disease after returning from a trip to Germany and Egypt in early March. He then went into self-isolation and was subsequently moved to private medical facility in Lagos to effective medical attention.

Kyari later gave up the ghost on Friday.
