The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode, has approved the appointment of Mr. Amusat Jimoh as the new KAI Marshal General.
Jimoh, who is a retired Chief Superintendent of Police, was sworn in on Thursday by the Commissioner for the Environment, Dr Babatunde Adejare, on behalf of the governor.
A statement by KAI on Thursday said Jimoh had served as the Divisional Police Officer of the Alausa and Anthony police stations.
He was also the Head of Operations, Lion Building, Lagos State. He served as the Commander, Mopol 33 Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, and the Unit Commander, Mopol 20, Ikeja.
The statement said, “Jimoh would be the fourth KAI Marshal General. He succeeds Captain Danjuma Maigari (retd.), the immediate past KAI Marshal General.
“Also appointed to assist him were three Assistant KAI Marshal Generals.
“Mr. Dapo Thomas has been appointed as the Assistant KAI Marshal General for Lagos Central Senatorial District.
“Mr. Jacob Asogba is now the Assistant KAI Marshal General in charge of Lagos East Senatorial District, while Mr. Abdul Kabir has been appointed as Assistant KAI Marshal General in charge of Lagos West Senatorial District.”
