BREAKING: APC Primary: Sanwo-Olu Defeats Ambode In Alausa, Gets 960 Votes

Lagos state governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Party (APC) has defeated the state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode at Ward C, Alausa in the ongoing primary election of the party.

TheCable reports that the electoral officer in charge of the ward, Olanrewaju Yahaya announced that Sanwo-Olu polled 960 votes ahead of the governor who secured just four votes.

The party’s primary election which is going on in several wards across the state today has continued to generate reactions from Lagosians in the past days.

LagosTimes recalls that governor Ambode and Mr Sanwo-Olu have been in a heated competitive race while the latter had got endorsements from the national leader of the party, Bola Tinubu and other top officials in the state.
