The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Reps candidate for Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South Federal Constituency, Pharm. Ejikeme Omeje has died in a road accident.
Thelagostimes gathered that the accident occurred on Tuesday morning along Eden Ani/Nsukka road, near El-Rina hotel, Nsukka, Enugu state.
He was said to be driving alone along the Erina-Edem Ani road in Nsukka, on his way back from Edem-Ani town after a political gathering when he suddenly lost control and his car veered into the bush, hitting a tree in the process.
He was reportedly rushed to the hospital but later died early Tuesday morning as a result of serious injuries sustained in the accident.
