One person has been confirmed dead by police stray bullet at the ongoing Yoruba nation rally in Ojota area of Lagos.
Thelagostimes had earlier reported that Policemen fired gunshots and hot water spray at the agitators who converged at the Gani Fawehinmi park in Ojota for the rally.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu had earlier addressed journalists at the venue, saying no rally is allowed in Lagos.
However, it was gathered that some Yoruba nation agitators dared the security operatives by spreading banners and flyers to announce their arrival and presence.
