BREAKING: Police Rearrest Suspected Ibadan Serial Killer, Sunday Shodipe

Operatives of the Oyo State Police Command have re-arrested the suspected Ibadan serial killer, Sunday Shodipe.

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Olugbenga Fadeyi, confirmed this on Sunday.

Fadeyi said: “The suspect has been rearrested and is currently in police custody.”

Thelagostimes recalls that the suspected killer who was arrested in connection with the death of about six women at Akinyele Local Government Area of the state, escaped from the Mokola police station on Tuesday, August 11.

The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, had dispatched additional investigative aids to Oyo State, including crack detectives to track down the fleeing serial killer.

The Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command, CP Joe Nwachukwu Enwonwu, had placed a N500,0000 reward on anyone who had useful information on the whereabouts of the serial killer.
