President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Lagos State for the official commissioning of multi-billion dollars Dangote Fertilizer plant at Ibeju Lekki.
Buhari arrived the Dangote Refinery complex at about 11:20am for the official tape cutting.
The plant, built at a cost of $2.5 billion, has the capacity to produce three million metric tonnes (mt) of urea yearly.
The plant is Africa’s largest Granulated Urea Fertiliser complex and occupies 500 hectares of land in the Lekki Free Trade Zone.
