President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday, met with Southeast leaders in Imo state.
Thelagostimes gathered that the meeting was held at a Town Hall in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
The President is also billed to meet with artisans, traders and youths leaders and community elders meeting during his visit to Imo State
The meeting was disclosed by one of Buhari’s Media Aides, Tolu Ogunlesi via his Facebook page.
“The President is now participating in a Town Hall Meeting with South-East Leaders, having gone round Owerri to commission a series of infrastructure projects by Governor Hope Uzodinma,” Ogunlesi wrote.
President Buhari, who landed at the Sam Mbakwe Airport in Imo State around 09:30 am on Thursday, was received by the South-East Governors, led by the Chairman of the South-East Governors, and the Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, host Governor, Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, among other Igbo leaders.
