There was palpable trepidation in Okesha area of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti state on Saturday as a bomb went off around the old government house.
LagosTimes gathered that the explosion, which brought down a building around the area, also affected a part of the state ministry of chieftaincy affairs.
The explosion also ravaged some sections of the ministry of finance, and other buildings in the premises.
Amba Asuquo, commissioner of police, was at the scene of the blast, and he said preliminary investigation showed that the bomb might have gone off from the explosive ordnance office (EOD) within the premises.
