Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has announced Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate.

Punch reports that Tinubu announced this while addressing journalists in Katsina on Sunday.

The presidential aspirant had earlier met with president Muhammadu Buhari, alongside Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari.

Shettima is a Muslim politician from the Kanuri tribe from Borno State.
