·         Launch street protest to resist the church’s insensitivity to their plight

Foul as it may be, hell will rage in despise of the devilry and inhumaneness visited upon staff of Infinity Media, a communication outfit owned by Christ Embassy Church (CEC) by the church pastors. The scriptural cauldron of damnation will itself, condemn the inhumaneness of the church subsidiary to its staff. Due to alleged maltreatment inflicted upon them by the church’s clerics and administrators, staff of Infinity Media, a CEC subsidiary will on Thursday, hit the streets of Lagos to protest non-payment of their salaries.
The workers are accusing some top pastors of the church of playing politics with their salaries. The workers blame a particular pastor, Ifeoma Chiemeka, for refusing to approve the payment of their even arrears after a directive to that effect was issued by the Head Pastor and President of Believers Loveworld, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. They have however concluded plans to hit the streets of Lagos to carry out a demonstration in protest of their unpaid salaries. If the workers should go ahead with their protests, it will amount to Christ Embassy Church’s umpteenth squabble over trivialities in recent times. The founder and Head Pastor of the church, Pastor Oyakhilome, was recently in the news over scandalous allegations of infidelity levelled against him by Pastor Anita, his estranged wife. The scandal exposed goings-on in the church to the dismay of adherents and staunch loyalists of its founder and head pastor.
