SuperSport channels on DSTV and GOtv will now air all 52 matches of the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Cote d’Ivoire.
Recall that last week, Multichoice had said that DSTV would not be able to broadcast the AFCON.
However, rumours surfaced today that there had been a turnaround and SuperSport had found a way to show the AFCON 2023 matches in Nigeria and across Africa.
Although there is yet to be an official statement from Multichoice, the DStv Nigeria account on X, formerly known as Twitter, has apparently confirmed the reports.
“No gree for anybody! Watch all 52 matches of the #afcon2023 on @supersport,” DStv Nigeria posted today.
AFCON 2023 kicks off on Saturday, 13 January 2024.
