Super Eagles midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo, says he is not disappointed for scoring an own goal which saw the team lose 2-0 to Croatia in their opening 2018 World Cup game.
Etebo who spoke with TheCable after the match said the blunder is part of the game.
“I wasn’t disappointed. It’s normal,” Etebo told TheCable.
“We lost and that’s the game of football. All we need to do is to keep our heads up and prepare for the next game and see what we can do.”
Etebo deflected Mario Manduzkic’s header into the net in the 32nd minute to gift Croatia the lead in the 2-0 loss at the Kaliningrad stadium on Saturday.
