Ex-Oyo Governor Ajimobi Battling With COVID-19, Reportedly In Coma

Former Oyo state governor, Abiola Ajimobi, has been reported to be critically ill with COVID-19.

According to reports, the ex governor is battling to stay alive, hooked on the ventilator.

Thelagostimes gathered that he is currently on admission in Lagos at the First Cardiology Consultants Hospital in Ikoyi and has been on ventilator for over one week as doctors battle to keep him alive.

However, latest reports have it that his condition has not improved as he slipped into coma.

Recall that Senator representing Lagos East, Bayo Osinowo who was reportedly undergoing treatment in the same hospital died on Monday.

According to hospital sources, Ajimobi’s condition is said to be very bad.

Ajimobi, 70 years old, was a former managing director of National Oil and Chemical Marketing Company a subsidiary of Shell Petroleum, Nigeria.
