The Presidency has announced the cancellation of the Federal Executive Meeting for Wednesday, October 3, 2018.
Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari made this known in a statement on Tuesday.
According to him, the cancellation is due to “ongoing political activities, particularly party primaries, in which some members of the council are deeply involved”.
“The Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting will not take place tomorrow. This is informed by on-going political activities, particularly party primaries, in which some members of the Council are deeply involved in various states of the federation”, the statement reads.
