No! Fifi Ejindu’s Lagos home has not been invaded by men of the underworld; neither has she been attacked and robbed on any of the well-laid Abuja roads at gun point. Last year in June on the occasion of her 51st birthday, she was prodded by the press on whether she would be throwing another talk-of-the-town lavish birthday, Fifi replied there would not be any need for another series of ostentatious displays but rather she had ordered a white Rolls Royce, the delivery of which she would take in few days, as her birthday gift. The world has since been looking forward to see her drive the car, or at least, see the “White Rolls Royce” adorn her garage. Almost a year after, the car is either still on the high sea or cooling off somewhere in the yard of the automobile dealers in Europe. Even the slowest of ships would have made countless number of trips around the world since last June when she made the statement.
The whole of Dubai stood still for her in 2012 when she hosted a select group of Nigeria’s crème de la crème to attend, arguably, the classiest and most expensive birthday bash ever held by an African at Burg Al Arab in the United Arab Emirates. She only needs to say why the Rolls Royce has taken this long to arrive, or she may be succeeding in bringing to light her art of deception and lies all in her bid to project her life of pleasure.
