Chioma, the fiance of Nigeria music star and Afro pop sensation, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has contracted the deadly Coronavirus disease.
The ọmọ bàbà olówó crooner made this known on Friday via his official Instagram page.
Davido said he and many of his close associates, including their infant son, took the test after traveling to countries where the infection is prevalent.
He, however said Chioma’s test returned positive while 31 others came back negative.
He explained that despite testing positive, Chioma has not begun to show known symptoms of the infection adding she has been quarantined while he too has gone into self isolation.
He expressed his gratitude for the love and concern shown to his family by fans and well-wishers during this trying period and also stressed the need for citizens to adhere to the stay at home directive issued by the authority.
