The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has invited the immediate-past Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, for questioning.
The former governor was said to have arrived at the office of the EFCC in Makurdi, the state capital on Tuesday morning.
Thelagostimes gathered that Ortom, who was later joined by some of his former aides, has remained there for some hours now as at the time of filing this report.
He was reportedly invited for questioning by the anti-graft agency for alleged misappropriation of funds.
