Former Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila has resigned from the House of Representatives.
His resignation is following his appointment as Chief of Staff to the president.
His letter of resignation was presented on the floor of the house and read by the speaker, Tajudeen Abbas.
Following his resignation, Gbajabiamila is expected to resume his new role as the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu today (Wednesday).
Thelagostimes recalls that the former Speaker was inaugurated alongside his colleagues on Tuesday.
