Nigeria has recorded for new cases of the virulent infection called coronavirus as the toll hits fourty.
The national center for Disease control made this known on its official twitter handle.
However, 37 of the cases are active with to date discharged and 1 dead
Out of the four cases in one is confirmed in Abuja while the remaining three are in Lagos.
NCDC said “Four new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria. 3 are in Lagos State and 1 in FCT
“Two of these cases are returning travellers
“As at 11:00pm on the 23rd of March, there are 40 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. 2 have been discharged with 1 death recorded”
