JUST IN: South African President Ramaphosa Apologises To Nigeria Over Xenophobic Attacks

The President of South Africa, Mr Cyril Ramaphosa has apologised to Nigeria over the xenophobic attacks in his country.

The apology was delivered to President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja on Monday by Ramaphosa’s special envoy, Mr Jeff Radebe.

A meeting between Buhari and Radebe has just ended at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Present at the meeting were the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama; Nigeria’s High Commissioner to South Africa, Kabiru Bala; as well as the acting South African High Commissioner in Nigeria, Bobby Moroe.
