After an eventful few months, Fuji music mastro King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall has jetted out of the country on a medical trip. The 10-day medical pilgrimmage to Canada is purported to come at the behest of his doctors. The wave-making musician will spend the time resting and recuperating from any lingering health issues.
This is the first trip to Canada for K1 De Ultimate since his favoured daughter Wasilat died there few months ago after a brief illness. The popular Fuji icon has however moved on from the sad episode and is determined to keep himself in the best possible shape for his teeming fans. Hence the long overdue trip to Canada which comes some years after he underwent corrective surgery for lung infection.
Those close to the man who officially married one of the women in his life Fathia Opeyemi few weeks back have promised that the renowned entertainer will be back in town in 10 days’ time. His numerous fans are already eagerly anticipating the return of the man who has shone the brightest on the Fuji scene.
His latest hit album “let the music flow” which he released in December after a long hiatus has been enjoying massive play on the airwaves. It has already become a favourite among Dee Jays and the party crowd. At 61, and after decades on the scene, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall’s star shows no sign of dimming
