King of Finger foods: Michael Afolaranmi Changing the Face of Small Chops Business

Through dint of hard work and a never-say-die attitude, the ordinary man known as Cassius Clay became the legend that is Muhammad Ali. Boss of small chops outfit 12 Baskets Michael Afolaranmi is following the same well-trodden path to success.

Starting out as an unknown quantity, he conceived the idea of a small chops business and lovingly nurtured it through the stages of pregnancy. Now, 12 Baskets has become a force to reckon with in the catering industry, providing small chops and snacks at the biggest events hosted by the rich and famous.

For Afolaranmi, the journey has not ended; it has only entered another interesting phase. The businessman-turned-pastor is putting finishing touches in place to expand his business to all the nooks and corners of the 36 states and Abuja. If recent whispers in certain quarters are to be believed, 12 Baskets is even planning to launch an international arm in the coming months.
