The Lagos State government has discharged 90 COVID patients on Friday.
Giving the update on its Twitter handle, the Lagos State Ministry of Health disclosed that the recovered patients include 30 females and 60 males.
This is the highest recovery to be recorded in the state, bringing the total discharged cases to 1,137.
“I bring you great news from our isolation facilities. Today, 90 fully recovered #COVID19Lagos patients; 30 females and 60 males, were discharged to join the society.
“The patients; 28 from Onikan, 9 from Eti-Osa (LandMark), 10 from Agidingbi, 5 from Gbagada, 2 from First Cardiology, 10 from Lekki and 26 from Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID19.
“With this, the number of patients successfully managed and discharged from our Isolation facilities is now 1137.
“As our front line health workers records successes in this battle against #COVID19, we urge citizens to adhere strictly to our public advisories and directives as this is the only way we can break the chain of transmission of the infection”, the tweet reads.
