The Delta State police command has arrested 41-year-old Ame Edjeket, who caged his wife and mother of his eight children, Gladys, for over three years on allegations that she is a witch.
The suspect who allegedly impregnated his wife three times while she was in bondage alleged that she was behind his financial woes at their home in Orerokpe, Delta state.
The husband was said to have fed her with only bread throughout her time in bondage and she was not allowed to shower or use the restroom.
